He remained true to her design principles and inspirations while bringing a fresh perspective to the clothes as well as the accessories. If you look at the best of the bags of current and recent seasons, many are flattering iterations of Lagerfeld's early vision. This very rare mini cross body bucket is black leather, believed to be lambskin if I remember correctly. High-shine gold hardware, quilting, a delicious CC logo sewn into the design at the bottom. This little bag is the purest expression of all those beautiful Chanel hallmarks. A stunning example of that early Lagerfeld era. Incredible condition for any age.

Strap drop is about 20, perfect for a cross body. The base is about 5-1/2" by 4-1/4", the bag is about 7 tall. Shown on a very small dress form, 0-2.
